Gary Takes Gold

2006 Recipient Gary Griffiths has won the prestigious Gold Medal competition at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.  Trustee Mark Evans said ‘When we first heard Gary sing in 2006 we could see that this was a voice of exceptioanl beauty and certainly one of class. We were delighted to have been able to help him finacially in order for him to continue his studies, which is making him in to a fine singer and bringing him great success’. In winning the Gold Medal at the GSMD Gary follows in the footsteps of musicians like Jacueline du Pre and Bryn Terfel.
